Remove Unlimited Personal Folders in Folder List & Mail Navigation?

To remove multiple personal folders follow these steps:

  • Tools > Services

    • Or
  • File > Data File Management

You can remove the additional Personal folders in case there is one list.

Steps to Create New File:

  • Go To Start
  • Go To Settings
  • In settings, choose Control Panel
  • Then, in Control Panel, choose Mail option
  • View Profiles before you
  • Go to Add, so as to get rid of the issue

There is another way to create new file:

  • Select Start  
  • In Run, enter Regedit
  • Select OK
  • Check HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsMessaging Subsystem\Profiles\profilename\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT (for Windows NT version or 2000 version)

There are sub keys that are available in hexadecimal numbers. Find the key that references the .PST file; choose it. Now, export that key from the registry menu with .REG file for backup use, and then delete it.  If you seem to have multiple keys pointing to the same PST, try opening Outlook after you delete the first one. If you find that you have deleted a "good" PST entry, import the key from the .REG file to which you exported it, and then try the next one.
